Ron has given an interview for radio station KSAV, the first half of which airs tonight Tuesday 23 June on the 'Dave White Presents' show.
The show starts at 7.30pm Pacific (10.30pm EST) and the second part of the interview will be in the next show in two weeks time on 7 July.
You can't miss it, as you can listen live online via the KSAV website or listen later as a Podcast here _________________ Dance like no-one is watching |

Nice of you to mention it. Hope it works for you all, I tried to promote the band a bit as it is so cool to be a part of it. And Vegas is coming! _________________ Blues Band Electric Guitar Player Ron |

Great interview, Ron, but I didn't realize I'd have to listen through all that stuff about the 3 Stooges. (I'm not a big fan (of the Stooges) but if anyone is a fan you should listen in.)
I especially liked the part of the interview where you were describing the real difference between CGI and models - with CGI the more you use it, the better it gets and the more detail you can show, etc; but with models, the more you use them, the worse they look, especially with closeups. Very interesting.
And Seaquest was in fact the name of the show you were thinking of (I actually think special effects were the least of that show's problems, but that's a story for another forum).
Anyway, I'm looking forward to part II of your interview.

Try this link and click on "Play now" for Monday, June 22. http://feeds.feedburner.com/Dwp
That's where I found it - I didn't get the chance to listen live. Ron's part of the interview is somewhere in the middle, after the Three Stooges segment.
Paranthetically, I scrolled down the page to Feb 4 and found an interview with Frank Jeckell of the 1910 Fruitgum Company, which is the band that my brother was in in the late 60's. A true blast from the past for me. (If anyone remembers the songs Simple Simon Says or 1,2,3 Red Light, you might be interested in this interview. If you ever see a picture of the original group, my brother's the one with the glasses - pretty dorky looking!).
Enjoy the interview,
