Vaughn has confirmed that the Enterprise Blues Band has been booked to perform at the Hollywood Xpo convention this October!

Following on from the huge success of Hollywood movie Star Trek 2009, Hollywood Xpo is held at the Hilton Universal hotel, right next door to Universal Studios.

The con website for full details is www.hollywoodxpo.com

The Trek Xpo forms a big part of this multi-genre event, with an extremely impressive Trek guest line up already (including our EBB)... Walter Koenig, Nichelle Nichols, Alan Ruck, Tim Russ, Jonathan Frakes, Brent Spiner, Michael Dorn, Rene Auberjonois, Connor Trinneer, Robert Duncan McNeil, John Billingsley, Dominic Keating, Nicole de Boer, Gary Graham, Grace Lee Whitney, Richard Hatch, Suzie Plakston, and Celeste Yarnall.

All six members of the EBB are down on the guest list, though of course appearances are subject to confirmation and change.

Hollywood Xpo is from 15-17 October, and the full address of the Hotel is 555 Universal Hollywood Drive, Universal City, California, USA, 91608-1001

How EXCITING! Just a few hours from our home, so of course Judy already has us signed up to be there and support the band. I'll need all this time to practice dancing. Rolling Eyes

News like this always brings a smile to my face!

This is so funny because all I remember doing was calling Candace to tell her about the EBB playing at the Hollywood xpo and 2 hours later she called me back and told me to buy the tickets! But I am looking forward to seeing the band play again, they were great in Vegas! Laughing

I could use my one free tickets (yeaay, finally have enough years of service) to fly over for this concert. That website confuses me though. What sort of convention ticket do I need to buy to attend the concert? Do you reckon I'd be able to see the EBB live with a day ticket only?

It would be great to see you there Dani! We bought the general tickets, however, Hollywood Xpo website doesn't say if the general tickets will include the band performance or not. It would be very disappointing if it doesn't!!!

Have a safe flight!

I'm still thinking about this, but I think with this gig it will be a kinda short notice thing for me. American Airlines might strike later this year, so I could get stuck, as their customers will get rebooked on our flights. Come on AA, get yourself sorted out!

Is the band already confirmed to perform on a specific day of the event?

I called the people at Hollywood Xpo and they said they do not sell single day tickets for the Trek Xpo, so unfortunately, if you want to go, you have to pay for all days. The cheapest at the time we paid was $99.00 US dollars. Judy confirmed with them that the $99.00 ticket includes seeing the band play.

I was wondering if anyone could dispell a rumor...will the entire band be available for that event or are there circumstances that may change it a bit?

Thanks for finding out for us, I did go for the $99 ticket in the end.

Yes, I did hear of that rumour in Vegas. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Wonderful Dani! We are so happy that you will be there. I just hope everything works out so the band can blues the night away. Only 64 days away. See you there.

Hi all. I regret to tell you that Casey will not be there. He would be giving up too much in New York for the amount the Expo will pay. Unfortunately...Bill Jones also had to bow out of this one for medical reasons....NOT life-threatening! And Ethan Philips is in Canada then, I think. We'll miss them all. BUT!!- We are pleased to welcome a great friend, Gary Graham , to the group, standing in for Bill on the drums. We also have the great Keyboard Artist, Michael Goodrow....Arnie on "8 is Enough" and Charlie Becker standing in on rhythm guitar for Casey. So we do have a full compliment of musicians doing the EBB songs. I don't believe anyone will be disappointed with the sound. It's a party group and we intend to have a ball. Thank you all for your continued support. Hope to see you somewhere soon.
